Project 2003 not summing sub-tasks so 1+3 days showing as 1 day

I cannot link sub-tasks. They all run consecutively instead of sequencially,
e.g. linking sub1 (1 day) as a predessessor of sub2 (3 days) does not make
sub2 follow it. I also cannot summarise sub-tasks, e.g. the summary of sub1
and sub2 is shown as 1 day rather than 4 days. These work perfectly on my
colleagues PCs.

I have tried reinstalling Project Professional 2003, and have now also
installed the trial version of Project Standard 2003 - neither of which work
on my PC.

Hi Shireen,

First I would suggest checking that your calculation is set to Automatic
not Manual. See Tools > Options, calculation tab.
