Project 2003 Project manager standin

Hi all,

a quick question. If I am assigned as a project manager in project 2003 all
tasks need to be approved by me before being published to the server.

Is there a possibiliy to specify a standin for me when I might be on
holiday, so that this person would get the task approval requests just for
this time as opposed to me?

The quick answer is yes if the Stand-in has the same security permissions as
you. Just have the Stand-in open the project from their server account and
use the Collaborate>Publish>Republish Assignments>and check the "Become the
manager for these assignmnets" box, make sure it says for the entire project
up top and then click "OK". Once you return from vacation you can reverse the
process to again become the owner.
