project 2003 schedule

I want the schedule to fit one page width on 11 x 17. I have 7 columns:
actual start, actual finish, resource etc. and the timescale is from 2004
through 2007. When I print the time scale takes up 3/4 of the page and the 7
columns of printed data takes only the remaining 1/4 which makes the printed
data unreadable. I'd like for the timescale portion to reduce to maybe 50%
of the sheet and 50% to the 7 columns of printed data. Actually I have a
sheet where it printed this way but cannot get it to do so again. Any advise
is greatly appreciated.
