project 2007 and default save as 2003!!

Hello again,
I worked with a company uses ms project 2007, the strange thing there that
the default save as setting is MS project 2000-2003, and If I change it from
Collaborate option – Save tap, to project *.mpp it works good till we reopen
the Project, it returns to 2000-2003 default .
This also happened even when they reinstalled the MS Project
Any ideas?

Hello Saleh Mansour,

Are you working with Project Server? It's possible a setting has
been changed in the global enterprise setting the default save file
type. In the client, the setting is in Tools > Options, Save tab.

If you are using Project Server, your question would best be posted
to the project server newsgroup.
