Project 2007 B2TR - cannot change options?

Mike

When I attempt to go to any tab under tools, options, I get the following
error:

This value is not valid in this situation.
Check the field to see if it requires text, a date, or a number, and that
you typed the information correctly.

I tried changing some of the options on the view tab, and again get this
same error if I try to click OK. Actually, I get this error if I make *no*
changes and click ok.

I have tried using Project 2007 on 3 different machines and have the same
problem on all of them. I've tried detect & repair, and the diagnostic
tool - no change. Any ideas? TIA,

Mike

I found a few things; I was able to get to other option pages by going to
collaboration options. Doing this I found the error came up when moving off
the following tabs:

View
General
Calendar
Calculation

Also, on the Calendar tab the spin buttons are not aligned correctly.

I will keep checking this out, but any ideas would be welcome.

I actually just submitted that bug report; I was hoping there might be a
workaround. Although I'm not certain it's related, I cannot work in Project
2007 - its why I tried to look at options. For example, I cannot create or
edit resources or tasks (either nothing happens or I get a similiar error
about being a bad units value). I'm guessing this is something that all 3
installs I've done have in common, though I cannot think what that might be
(they're all fairly different).

Thanks again,
Mike
