Project 2007 - Web Access Provisioning Fails (with SharePoint 2007

I have tried almost everything I can think of but I keep getting the same
error. Project Provisioning failed for the PWA site. I have tried using
different users, making new websites to provision etc. I was just wondering
if anyone has run into this same problem? I REALLY need to get Project setup
in my company but I have been dealing with this problem for about 3 weeks
trying everything I can think of. I finally decided to try out this forum, if
anyone has a solution or suggestion please send them my way

Thanks
Chris

Try logging on as the identity you set for the SSP and see if it works.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the response. I will outline what I ahve tried a little better so
you can better understand the problem.

Users tried: I used an account I made called SPService for my setup. It has
full database rights and admin rights on my server (I am doing a single
server setup). I have tried logging in domain with my SPService user, I have
tried logging in locally with my SPService user, I have tried using my domain
admin account and the computer admin account.

I know in lots of things I have read it talks about using an extended
website for setup, I have created 7 different sites within the Central
Administration page, but they just keep erroring on provisioning regardless
of what I try.

Do you know of any resources that walk you through setup? I have read
basically ALL the MS documentation but it isnt very specific as to the exact
steps to create the site, then provision it.

Thanks for the help,
Chris
