Project 2007 with Vista, Project Guide and Manage Deliverable issu

Angie

I'm using Project 2007 Professional client on a Windows Vista workstation.
When I open a published project-->Colloborate-->manage deliverables, I get
the following error message "Functionality not Available, You are using a
custom Project Guide that doesn't appear to support this functionality. Would
you like to switch to the default project guide from Microsoft Office
project? The only options are "YES" or "NO" Neither option brings back my
original project guide.
Is there a way to re-install the project guide files for Project 2007? I see
the files in Project 2007 SDK, but not sure how to install? Will Vista SP2
resolve my problem?
Help!

P.S. The project guide and manage deliverables work ok from Windows XP and
Windows 2000 workstations!
Thank you.

Ran a Repair for Project 2007 client
Same error messages on a Vista workstation
When I open a published project-->Colloborate-->manage deliverables, I get
"Functionality not Available, You are using a
custom Project Guide that doesn't appear to support this functionality.

Any other suggestions?
I need help!

Angie:

I haven't seen this one before, so I'm grasping at straws a little here.<g>

Are you comfortable using the Registry Editor? If so, please check to see if
this key exists:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\MSProject\Options\Interface
"GBUIDisplayToggle"=dword:00000000

If it doesn't, then you need to create it or uninstall and re-install
Project.

If it does, I'm not sure what else to try, other than to go to Tools >
Options > Interface Tab and make sure that the two "use default" selections
are selected.
