Project 2007 won't install?

Our current developers tried to install it and receive this error.
Application Server Administration job failed for service instance
Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchAdminSharedWebServiceInstance (9e603ca4-ee1d-4f49-9e38-d61183eaeecc).
Reason: Failed to connect to an IPC Port: The system cannot find the file
specified.

The server is a member of a domain
You are logged into the server as a domain administrator

The server is a stand alone server. We are logged in with a local
adminstrator account.

The current beta doesn't support this type of installation. You'll need to
wait for RTM.
