Wondering if without going to "reports view/tracking", Ms
Project will inform user of late or unfinshed task as cf
to baselne at any particular time period

Johari,
As far as I know, there is no automated "audio alarm" for notifying the
user of late or unfinished tasks. This feature could probably be
implemented but it would take a VBA macro to do so. Meanwhile there are
several ways to see the information in a view and the use of indicators
could serve as a "visual alarm".
