Project and Email Collaboration

This looks like it will be a simple question ( and maybe
dumb ) but I would like to use Mocrosoft Project Pro 2002
and collaborate using email. I've done that ( well at
least the resources are getting emails ) but the
attachment that it send to them ( *.mtm ) is not
recognized by some so they cant open it and others have
this extension associated with WINAMP....can anyone help
me!!!

Hi Lord(?),

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You need to run wgsetup.exe on each recipient's PC. Wgsetup.exe is on your
Project CD (do a search on the CD). For more info read Help on "Workgroups".

Are you not using the Project Server and Project Web Access with
Project Pro 2002? If so, they can enter time on PWA. If not, I believe
there is a file named wgsetup.exe that each user must install on their
system to allow them to read the .mtm files.

It does help but Im geting an error everytime I try to
run the SET UP for WIngate....so I went to d/l WIngate
5.0 but it still didnt help. DO I have to use the one on
the CD???? Cause if I do, I think Im in trouble!!!
Any other place I can get this WGSETup.exe

By the way, Im not using Project Server...just Project
2002 and email

Sorry, Jesse, I don't know what Wingate is. The wgsetup.exe is essentially
an add-in to Outlook so that it can read the Project produced email and
respond in like format.

I was told that WGSETUP.EXE is wingate...Well I think my
file is corrupt so can you guide me to where I can get
this file???
