Project Center Response Time in Project Web Access 2007

Hi,
I'm new to Project Server 2007 and the response time for both the project
center as well as the resource center seem to take awhile to load the
information. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Does anyone know how
to fix this?

There are known issues with the project center performance with projects
over 4000 lines. Is this the case for you?

Regardless if you have projects over 4000 lines, a workaround for slower
performance that came from Microsoft was to manually re-index MSP_TASKS and
MSP_PROJECTS tables in the Published database.
