Project Client Unable to Contact Project Server 2007

Office Project Professional client 2007 is not able to connect to Project
Server 2007. I had previously created accounts in Project Server. I had also
logged in to XP client machine using account I had installed Project Server
2007 and created the accounts. I am able to open Project Professional 2007
on XP client using the account 'Computer', but after adding a new account
'user1' (providing the server URL and using Windows auth), I am unable to
connect to server. I can access the URL via browser. The error is 'Project
Server could not be contacted..'' Any help is appreciated

Check the URL in the connection is correct ! Pro and IE connect using the
same protocol, so if IE works, Winproj should also work !
