Project guide on MS Project Server 2007

Hi,

I am trying to customize a project guide for the department im currently
deploying MS Project Server 2007, but the feature seems disabled.

When i open Enterprise Global, i cant find the project guide, even if i turn
on by: View -> Turn On Project Guide

Am i doing something wrong, or not doing something I should do?
Or is it a server side configuration that might be disabled?

Any help would be appreciated!

Not that this answers your question, but a lot of folks I work with end up
finding the project guide customization to be quite onerous. I've seen a
product by 6D Tech called Project Catalyst which emulates the Project Guide
functionality with a lot less of the effort. There's probably a couple of
tools that do the same thing.

Hi, don't do this in the EGT, but rather just in the client. That should
turn on the guide. Customising it, as Andrew said, is quite a task...

Moreover, this feature is scheduled for retirement and that's why it's
turned off by default in Project 2007. Not a good investment for you at this
point.
