Hi,

We have applied deafult Project Manger security template 4
Project Managers group but the project manager are not
able to view all the resources(except himself) in the
Build Team from Enterpise Tool in Project Proff. They can
able to publish projects.

Should any more permission to be given to enable Project
Manager to see the resources ? Please help.

Regards

Sriram

You have not set your RBS code to show the reporting
structure within the organization. Once this is et up
correctly a VP can see anyone who reports up to him/her
and so forth down the food chain.

Even if RBS code not set, the adminsitrator can able to
see all the resources in the 'Build Team from Enterprise'
Tool.

I want all project Managers to view all resources & their
availabilty from Project Proffesional & select his team
from Enterprise.

Is it mandatory to set RBS code for all resources to do
even view the resource too :( ? If so, wht the best way to
do it.

Thanks for the help.

One way would be to create a new group for your project managers, assign the
"My Organization" category to the group and assign the projects managers as
members of the group.

Note, not only can the project managers now see all resources, but they can
see and open all projects in the enterprise. I don't believe there is an
administratively easy way to allow one to see all resources in the
enterprise but just their own projects.
