Project Manager Permissions to Project Workspaces

How can I give project managers "Full Control" over their project workspaces?

If I go to the individual site and change the permissions on the "Project
Managers (Microsoft Office Project Server)" group, these get reset ever time
the site is syncronized with Project Server.

I'm guessing if they are team members on the project to which the workspace
belongs, then their permissions will be reset to contributor each time the
project is published.

If they are PM's on the associated project then they should get full control.

Paul,

This would be the case if the project manager group had full control by
default. However, by default the Project Manager group does not have full
control. They cannot edit user permissions on the site for example. If I
change the PM group settings and add in all of those permissions, it works
great, but once the project site is synchronized with the server again, these
permissions go back to default (not full control).
