Project Manager Permissions

Hello,

I have several projects in Project Server 2003. However, In the Project
View, I would like only the responsible project manager to see the projects
on which he's/she's reporting. I've tried to work with the categories and
groups, but I'm really stuck. Does anyone have instructions as to how I
could do this?

Braktooth --

Assuming this situation is the same for every project manager, and that you
want each project manager to see only the projects that he/she manages, do
the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Manage users and groups link
4. Click the Groups link in the sidepane on the left
5. Select the Project Managers group and click the Modify Group button
6. In the Categories section on the right, remove the My Organization
category
7. Click the Save Changes button

Assuming that you have not made wholesale changes to the default My Projects
category, and have not added custom Categories to the Project Managers
group, then this should take care of the problem. Hope this helps.
