Project Manager unable to update task progress

We are using project server 2003 and project pro 2003 and
are having difficulties in updating %completed from the
PWA to the Project Professional. Some users are able to
update, but most of us are not.

The task on the PWA are updated to a percentage i.e. 60%
but when updating, the percentage is not reflected in the
project pro application.

Any suggestions,

Pascal:

First you state that you can't update, then you say that when you update the
information is not flowing back to Project. Which problem are you having? If
you can't update, we need to have a lot more information from you. For the
latter problem, you might want to check the settings under Tools > Options >
Calculation Tab and make sure that for each project that the checkbox
Updating task status updates resource status is selected.
