This question relates to a MS Project 2003 Professional Master Plan. In our environment we have about 50 individual MS Server Projects that make up one complete programme of work. We have created one Master Plan for the entire programme by inserting into it all 50 individual sub plans. There are no other tasks in this plan besides the 50 sub plans.
Now here's the problem. The master plan does not seem to automaticllay update on its own whenever the sub plans change. You have to individually open up all the sub plans one by one in order to obtain their changes. If you click on the global expand all button in project (the plus sign button) this crashes project.
We import the sub plans in 'read only'.
Is there any global setting that we are missing when setting up a master project? Thanks very much in advance for any help with this problem.
