Project Portfolio Server 2007 - Cannot Customize User's Interface

If possible, would someone please elaborate on Microsoft's response to
a question contained in the Project Portfolio Server 2007 FAQ which
ask if the product allows, "customizing the user's interface to align
with my organization's specific requirements". The answer was "no".

IMHO - Allowing the user to change the font size and color, or using
your own company's logo are very basis customizations. What gives?

I have no inside knowledge, but I'm sure that Project Portfolio Server
2007's user interface will be significantly reworked before the next
version of the product is released. Many aspects of the user interface
are, hmm, how shall I say... sub-standard. (Setting up a new user with
permissions being one of the most impressively hosed up.)

Keep in mind that this release of the product happened less than a
year after the code was acquired by Microsoft.

Thanks. Any more thoughts?

Well, the .aspx pages are there for your editing delight, so build a
dev environment and dive in. Test your changes, and if it works, it
works. Not necessarily supported by MS, but not impossible.

You can replace the company logo by simply doing a copy-paste into the Images
directory on your local server.
