Project Pro 2003 and Norton Antivirus 2003

I've discovered a problem when trying to connect to
Project Server 2003 from Project Pro 2003 when I have
Norton Antivirus 2003 installed. Antivirus is starting up
(NAVW32.exe) when I try to connect and it never lets
Project Pro 2003 connect. I uninstalled Norton Antivirus
and the issue went away.

Any thoughts on how to have these two packages coexist?

The problems with NAV aren't limited to Project and Project Server.
