Project Pro 2003 & MS Project 98 Same Workstation

There is one thing I can tell you. We have done a 2003 MSP Installation at
a client site, some of the users are still using 98. This has a huge impact
on 2003. Because if you work in 2003 and you move back to 98 you loose some
of your information. You will not be able to open you schedule when created
in 2003 and want to open in 98.

Please if you require any new information please phone Mientjie @ Fulcrum

Mientjie --

Why in the world would your client do an installation of Project Server
2003, and then allow some users to still use Project 98? The problem is not
with the software; it is with your client. Since you are the one(s) who did
the installation for your client, I believe you should advise their senior
management to mandate a complete rollout of the software and to purchase
Microsoft Project Professional 2003 licenses for all of those Project 98
users. The compatibility problems you have described should be
justification enough for them to mandate Project Professional 2003 for
everyone. Hope this helps.
