We are considering moving in the direction of Project Server 2007 and
Portfolio Server 2007 over the next few months.
I realize that MS Project Pro 2007 is NOT compatable with the Project
Server 2003 database.
However, if we have some external users who just want to use *.mpp's
for now until we get a Project Server 2007 database up and running,
would that work for them and would they be able to open / save
previously created project plans?
Crucial need for MS Office 2007?
In other words, would there be any reason to hold off on giving them
the 2007 client (if we had the CDs) until other components are in
place?
Thanks,
Andy
