Project Pro Crash

Hello,

I got a weird error message, which I am hoping to get a
resolution for.

HOW THINGS ARE SET UP
---------------------
SERVER SIDE:
Project 2002 Server running on a Windows 2000 Server,
along with SQL Server Standard, Analysis Services, IIS 5.0
and Share Point Team Services.

CLIENT SIDE:
Project 2002 Professional running on PC's with various
Operating Systems (Win 2000 Pro, XP, etc)

STEPS THAT LEAD TO ERROR MESSAGE

IN PROJECT WEB ACCESS (PWA)
- Log in PWA
- go to "Projects"
- Click in the first column (under the "i", to the left
of the project name)
- Click on "Open in Microsoft Project (right above the
spreadsheet)
(Project Pro will launch)

IN PROJECT PRO
- Enter Password to log in the system through Project Pro
(The Project Plan will appear)
- Double Click on a task
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Make any change (we were trying to change the "Task
Type")

THE ERROR MESSAGE
-----------------
- When making the change in the "Advanced Tab", the
window freezes, and an error message appears. Project Pro
crashes. (Unfortunately, an error message code was not
noticed/recorded)

THE SAME STEPS were done on another PC logging on to the
same server, and the same problem occurred.

THE FOLLOWING DAY
-----------------
- The same steps were repeated on multiple client PC's,
and this time, the system worked fine.

NOW
---
- The system works fine, however, we do not want to run
the risk of the same error message showing up again.

OTHERS' EXPERIENCES
-------------------
- Has anyone experienced this same crash?
- Does anyone have a fix for it?
