Project pro toolbars

Anyone got any idea how to save the position of toolbars in project pro?

I've been through all the options settings, toolbar properties setttings,
the help file and the MS online tools.

Lots of info about moving them but nothing about saving their location after
you move them.

If you are using Project Professional with Project Server, then you cannot
save the location of the Standard and Formatting toolbars. A bug in the
software that appeared in Project 2002 and has not been fixed in 2003 is
that the toolbars always appear docked left/right when logging into Project
Server through Microsoft Project Professional. I don't know of any solution
to this problem. I would gladly hear from anyone who has solved this little
issue.

Dale,

I am using project pro/server, so I guess I'm out of luck.

Out of curiosity, how does it work if you're not using the server?

If you're not using Project Server, the toolbars seem to behave as they
should behave. This means that if you rearrange them top and bottom instead
of left and right, they stay put. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Got it. Thank you for your replies.

You would think with the robust and mature office app object model that they
could pretty easily implement a checkbox (Options|General|Save toolbar
locations on exit) that would do this explicitly. Anyone from MS listening?
