Project Professional 2003 and SSL

THi everyone:
I've installed PS2003 on a single server with SQL Server 2000. Friday I
opened Project Server to the internet, creating a CA and installing a
certificate from my own Certification Authority to the website.
When I try to access PWA I've no problem (only the page of "There's a
problem with the security certificate of this website because the certificate
was installed for the intranet name of the server). When I try to access from
Project Professional I get a previous message that asks me if I trust the
certificate, I say 'Yes' and inmediatly I get the next error:
"Project Server error
The server returned an error while processiong your request. The error could
be caused by one of the following:
- The URL specified is not valid or is not Project Server.
- Internet Explorer is set to work offline
- The server could not process your request
- An internal server error occurred"
The URL is well written, and is in the Trusted sites. The client has IE7 and
Project Professional 2003.
Any idea

I've the sense that the problem is with the certificate. I've the same
problem with PS2007 and IE7, but with IE6 no problem connecting. The
certificate is for the intranet IP address and not for the Internet address
and I think that IE7 does not trust this certificate

jcano,

That is a real possiblity. I've seen that on my system already. I am now
using a verisign cert. It solved my issue but did cost a little.
