Project prompts user to log on again when idle for a while

When project professional is idle for a while, it locks project and forces
the user to log on again to access it. Is there a way to disable this?

thanks,
Rob

I think this is Terminal Services or Citrix related. Admin should be able to
adjust the time out or remove it altogether. However, a few people going
away leaving themselves logged in slows down performance for everyone else
so I doubt they will remove it. You just need to remember to log out!

We have Project Server 2003 running on Windows Server 2003. We've built a
custom web front end to project specific to company needs. I needed a way to
publish the project to the WEB_ASSIGNMENTS (dropping a file in VIEWDROP does
not fill the required table). Thus the plan is to leave an instance of
Project Professional logged in on the same machine, and then automate
(through COM) it to publish.

I know you can open project and log on through a command line call, however,
in Win2003, it will force a login prompt and ignore the password from the cmd
args (I know it works fine in XP though).

Do you have any specifics on where the timer could be disabled or increased.
I have not found such a setting yet, and have not found any docs on it
either.

May have found a simple solution. Set project pro to save every x minutes.
Though no actual project is open, it seems to keep it active. I'll let it
idle over the weekend to see if its still the case.
