Project Queuing Service memory allocation high

My client has recently experienced problems with their 2 Project Server 2007
servers (both application & WFE) whereby the memory allocation for the
Microsoft Office Project Server Queue Service process continues to increase
and eventually over a week or so will reach more than physical (4gb)
therefore performance becomes extremely sluggish.

If we restart the queuing service then memory drops back but will once again
increase out of control for the next week or so until next restart.

Has anyone else experienced the same behaviour and is it due the Aug hotfix,
queue settings etc ?

Thanks Tyrone

I seem to recall this issue was resolved in the Infrastructure Update - 15
July 08.

Have you correctly installed both SP1 and the infra update ?

You create a batch process to recycle the services each day at different
times ! This wouldn't have a noticeable impact for your users.

Thanks Paul,

Infrastructure update applied as well as Aug 26 hotfix. Although we can
setup a scheduled task to restart the service out of hours but this would be
a workaround and not a complete fix.

I will take another look at the July update but wonder if MS have introduced
the issue with newer updates ?
