Project Retention in Project Server 2003

We have Project Server 2003 SP2a. We have over 300 projects loaded to server
(schedules and workspaces).

I have noticed that in the PWA Project Center that some older projects are
missing. They still appear in the Admin screens where you can manage windows
sharePoint services and in the Admin screen where you can choose to cleanup
project server.

You can also still get to the project workspaces via the Documents link in
PWA ... and you can still open the schedules via Project Pro. But you can no
longer see them in PWA Project Center views UNLESS you open the schedule in
Project Pro and republish.

Does Project Server have some sort of hard-coded limit of how many projects
can be viewed in a single PWA Project Center view? ... or ... Does it have
some timming mechanism where projects not changed since a certain time period
no longer display in Project Server PWA Project Center views?

This is not a big issue (because we can still get to the schedules via Pro
and the documents via the Project Workspaces), other than we would just like
to know what is going on.

I've checked the views and they are set to display all projects ... and I am
logged on as an Admin.

Hi Charles,
I have in my mind a limit of 2000, but I've not been able to verify this,
anyway, 300 shouldn't be an issue. There is no retention period set, all
projects should show in a list, the only valid reason that they shouldn't is
if they are filtered out for any reason.
