Project Schedule with Outlook Integration

Hi

We would like to sync all Project tasks/calendar appointments to user
Outlook application.

My query is- if i use the Outlook Add in tool. If PM's create projects or
new schedule, can Project server review user/resource availables day within
the users outlook calendar? Or is this done completely within Project
Server itself?

Also - if appointment or task has been reassigned - and i sync my outlook
with Project Server - does outlook tasks/calendars get updated (removing the
old tasks/appointment)?

HI James,

To your first question the answer is no. Project Server does not review
outlook calendars to determin the availabillity to a resource ( Sounds like a
good idea but very hard to realise in a real world environment).

To your second question, yes if a task is changes and outlook is
syncrosnised, the amended task will appear, not the old one
