Project Scrolls too fast when dragging a task

In MS Project, when I try to relocate a task by dragging it with the mouse,
the screen scrolls so fast that I cannot find the place where I want to move
it to. I am wondering if any other project uses have experienced this and if
they have found a solution.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Yes, this has always been a problem with Project Try highlighting the
task by right clicking the ID number and use Cut, scroll down and then Paste
it in its new postiion. Make sure, though, that Tools/Options.../Schedule
tab that Autolink is deselected.
