Project Selection/Implementation

Hello all..!

I need to implement Project in a multiproject/multiuser environment. But, I
have a problem: my corporate email system is Notes R6.5.

Is there a way I can get all the communication features from Project using
Notes? How?

How Project interacts with MS SQL 2K? and with MS Visio?

Which version of Visio should I consider?
