Project Server 2002 Removal - Service W3SVC Failed to Start Error

Has anyone encountered a problem when trying to remove Project Server 2002 from the server? I am in the process of upgrading from PS2002 to PS2003 and I am receiving an error when trying to remove Project Server 2002.

When I tried to install Project Server 2003 over the top of 2002 I was directed to remove 2002 first. However, when I try to remove I get the error 'Service W3SVC Failed to Start'. The uninstall seems to have removed some of the components but not all, since I can no longer get to the project server site.

BTW, I am logged into the machine as Administrator with all Admin rights.

Ignore this POST.... I found my own answer. The World Wide Web Publishing Service for some unknown reason was disabled. Upon enabling and starting the service everything worked fine. Sorry to trouble anyone with this post!
