We are using project server to manage many projects. We have a finite
(enterprise) resource pool spread across all projects. This is new for us.
What i am trying to figure out is the best way to level resources across the
projects effectively. I am not necessarily saying that i want to use the
built in leveling tool (as i am still gun shy with it from earlier versions)
but i am open to it if i should explore that functionality.
I really need to be able to prioritize effectively resources across projects
and am open to any suggestions with Project Server (links are welcome as
well).
We do not currently have the portfolio management installed but i will if
this is key to helping here...
