Project Server 2003 and SharePoint Portal Server 2003

Jim

I know that these two products can be used together and we are planning to
do so. The installation guide has instructions on configuring Project Server
for use with SharePoint Portal Server but I do not see where it says you can
or cannot run them on the same server. Are there any known issues with
installing both of these products on the same server? Is there a whitepaper
or instructions on the proper configuration?

Thank you in advance.

Jim

P.S. I tried to post this to the project.server newsgroup and it did not
show up after about 10 minutes so I reposted to the pro and server newgroup.

You can run the released versions of both products on the same server

Jim,

Just to tag onto Gary's note... although they can run together, you should
be aware that Project Server requires a considerable amount of bandwidth.
SharePoint can require a considerable amount of hard disk space and
bandwidth if you are expecting heavy use of the document control features.

You should really keep these things in mind when planning your installation.
There are some great articles on planning your implementation at the
Microsoft Technet website:
