Project Server 2003 Database

Hi,

The table MSP_PROJECTS in Project Server 2003 database contains a field
RESERVED_BINARY_DATA. Is that field contains data in MSProject (.mpp) format
or in other format?

I have retrieved the RESERVED_BINARY_DATA from database and save it as .mpp
file in the local disk. After that when i opened the file it says "Project
cannot recognize this file format".

The issue is I have unknowingly deleted some tasks MS Project plan. Hence I
want to retrieve my plan with the latest Project Server Database backup.

Is there anyother way to retrieve my project plan?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

There are several binary fields. If you've deleted some tasks, even if you
could recover the binary version, the deleted tasks will be gone as well.
Once saved the only way to get them back is from a backup.
