Project Server 2003 Evaluation

Help!!,

We are currently evaluating project server 2003 and are having a strange
error when working with the sample database and eval guide. When the first
user "Eva Corets" logs in and attempts to create the project from the AD
template, we do not see the left hand pane (Project Guide), but get the
following error:

The page is attempting to display information from the site
res://shdoclc/syntax.htm#pgcontent://SampMain.htm/. You have not identified
this site as a trusted site in Internet Explorer.

I have made sure that both http://<servername> and http://localhost are put
of the trusted sites for this user (in fact we have tried it with multiple
users and get the same error).

Any thoughts and/or suggesstions?

G'day George

Are you going through a proxy? If you are remember to check the "Bypass
proxy server for local address" under your LAN Settings in the Internet
Options.

Hope this helps.

Josh,

Yes, we do use a proxy, in fact our network is a SBS 2003 with ISA 2004 as
the firewall. We have the project server running on a seperate machine then
our domain server, and we do have the "Bypass Proxy" option selected under
LAN settings. Thanks for the try though, we're still seaching for the
solution to this problem.

Thanks

George

I think Eva is pointing to a custom project guide that requires additional
steps to install. There's a bunch of manual steps you need to perform to get
the sample working correctly in a new environment.
