Regarding this post from Renke Holert [MVP] with subject"Project and
Project Server 2003 Service Pack 2 released" on Sep 28:
does anyone know why is the download unavailable? problems and silently
removed? microsoft, do you know how to write "thank you for accesing
the project server 2003 service pack 2 download link. this download is
temporarily unavailable. You will be redirected to download service
pack 1 in a few moments, if not click here blah blah"
instead of a classic
"The download you requested is unavailable. If you continue to see this
message when trying to access this download, go to the "Search for a
Download" area on the Download Center home page." that produces a lot
of confusion?
it's okay, i understand that even microsoft might make errors, we all
are human. but to silently drop a standard error page and no comment
about *why* is this service pack unavailable it's simply unpolite
