Project Server 2003 & WSS Problem

Aj

Hi,
When I go to PWA -> Manage windows sharepoint services and save changes I
get the following error message

"Project server has failed to create a test site on the specified webserver
running Windows SharePoint Services. Verify that the Sharepoint Central
Administration URL is correct."

I've checked the following.
1) Sharepoint Central Site Admin URL : Test URL works fine
2) Public documents works fine
3) Verified the site owner email id is valid
4) Verified the com+ utility is using the PWA account and it's part of the
admin group
5) Verified the PWA account has db owner rights on the SQL server
6) Verified that the Proxycfg is run

Insatallation details:
Project server and WSS, Sharepoint on one server
SQLserver on a different server.

Please help me figure out what the problem could be.

Thanks.

Hi Aj - not sure if this helps; however, have you confirmed that the
following is checked

Follow menu path in PWA
Admin/manage windows shareponit services/choose site provisioning
settings (under options) and check the Settings for Web site creation

"Automatically create a team Web site for the project when a project
is published to Project Server. " needs to be selected.
Just a thought.
