Project Server 2007 Active Directory Group Synchronization

Gordon

All,

I have a scenario where the AD synchronisation is throwing an error in the
Event Log, but is executing successfully in Project Server. The users are
synchronised and the Project Server Event Pool displays a success message.

Any pointers to why is this occuring will be of much help.

Below is error in the Event Log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Office SharePoint Server
Event Category: Project Server Active Directory Synchronization
Event ID: 7718
Date: 9/01/2008

Gordon:

From PWA select Server Settings
From the Operational Policies menu select Active Directory Resource Pool
Synchronization.
Locate the setting for Active Directory Group that lists the AD group you
created@domain name.
Make sure that all the users are populated in that group
After that, execute a save and synchronize

Let us know if that clears the error.
