Project Server 2007 Admin manual

Is there any solid admin manual on the Internet? I know there're books out
there and we have already purchased them but they won't get here anytime
earlier than a month from now.

I found it on Amazon.com You can search for Project Server 2007. We bought
the first couple of Admin books.

I can't believe there's no admin manual on the 'net for this!! The product
is out but no one knows how to admin it (unless you buy the book and wait
forever until it arrives).

Out of curiosity, where have you find a Project Server 2007 administrator's
manual? We are currently working on our book on this subject, but I'm not
aware of any such books on the market. Let us know.

Most definitely. Until then I'll be using this board to resolve the issues
(and frankly it's been very helpful so far).

Yes, I noted that both of our Project Server 2007 books list a March release
date, which I can guarantee is NOT going to happen. We are looking at late
Spring or early Summer to release our books, beginning first with our book
for Project Managers. I noted that the only other Project Server 2007 book
specificially for administrators lists November release date. So, the
reality is that you won't be receiving a Project Server 2007 administrator's
book any time in the near future.

I wouldn't be too hard on the authors of these books if I were you. Project
Server 2007 was officially released only a couple months ago, so there is a
period of time in which authors "ramp up" the learning curve to master the
new product, and believe me, there is a LOT of new content ot master!
Beyond this, authors also need to make a living in addition to their
writing. For our company, this means that we have to work client
engagements while trying to write our books. Thus, none of us have
unlimited time and resources to produce these books. So, be patient, give
us all a break, and we will get the books completed as soon as we can. Hope
this helps.

Thank you for your kind comments. The questions that I address personally
in this newsgroup helps me to develop my own "knowledge base" about
problems, issues, and questions that users have about Project Server 2007.
What I write in our book for Project Managers helps me to answer questions
in this newsgroup, and the questions I answer in this newsgroup helps me to
write the book! :)
