Project Server 2007 Architecture?

I wanted to get peoples opinion regarding architecting the Project Server
2007 solution. A vendor has architected the solution for the
Application/Front End Server to house Analysis Services - does this not make
sense anymore because of the new design in 2007?

Thanks

It really depends on the spec of the server and how much data/usage is
intended.

Will it work ? yes

You can always start with AS on the APP box if you don't have an existing
alternative. As usage and data increases you can migrate AS onto another
server at a later time.

If possible I would personally recommend have AS and RS on a seperate server.

Thanks Paul. We are going through a Pilot and I'll take your advice when we
move into Production.

To me it would make more sense to stick AS on the same box as the dbs in the
1st instance. If this isn't an option, I'd put them on the app box as
suggested, and then move off it perf is an issue.
