Project Server 2007: base calendar "locked down"

Hi all.

We've installed a Project Server 2007 in a single machine, following the
"basic" installation.
After the installation, we have tried to set the base "standard" calendar
working times (with the administrator account, server settings > enterprise
global > configure project professional) but every single time Project says:
"Your organization has locked down the calendars you can use. You can only
use one of the calendars listed below."
We've checked all the global permissions, etc., but just can't change it.

Of course, we're newbies in installing & configuring Project Server, and are
probably doing something very wrong.

So... can someone help us, please?

You are looking in the wrong place. Log into PWA with adminstrator
permissions and then click the Server Settings link. On the Server Settings
page, click the Enterprise Calendar link in the Enterprise Data section of
the page. Select the Standard calendar and then click the Edit Calendar
link. From there, follow your normal procedure to edit the Standard
calendar. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Unfortunetly, the same thing happens.
Project still complains about the "locked down calendars", and neither the
"Create new calendar" nor the "Add calendar to Enterprise" buttons are
enabled.
PS2007 is running in a Win2003 SP2 Standard virtual (VMWare) box. It is in a
Workgroup, not a domain. We've tried both types of authentication with the
same results. We've even tried installing PPro in the server and using the
administrator account to do it hoping it was something with the
authentication modes/accounts. All to no avail.
