Hi All:
I have an assignment to install MOSS with Project Server in a distributed
environment. This is a first time to implement with MOSS 2007 so i need some
clarifications. As per my client requirements, they need team site (so
called portal sites) along with PWA Site. What I am planning to do...
1- Create 3 sites as below
* Team Site (Portal) with search and Site directory features
* My Site
* SSP site
I will use header host because they might be willing to use port # 80.
Questions:
1- Should I create a new site for PWA provision or use the Portal site (Team
site) to use PWA provision for best practice???
2- Search and Indexing feature will be configured in SSP site. Is it enough
to configure SSP for crawling/indexing/searching purpose for all sites using
SSP services OR configure a specific site? I am confused, please help me.
