Project Server 2007 Queue problem

Good Day All. We have an issue with a job in the project Queue that stays in
the Processing state (at 0%) and won't process, even after a reboot or Queue
restart. It ''seems'' to be blocking all other jobs, as we are not able to
save projects or archive or other transactions of this nature.
I have read the other post on how to troubleshoot Queue issues but this was
not conclusive and the logs do not report anything.
The Queue is still processing other jobs like Queue Cleanup.

Any help-advice is appreciated.

What's the nature of the failed job? Presumably you tried cancelling
it?

The logs show that connection with the project Queue cannot be establish. We
tried cancelling the job with no success. It stays in same 'Processing
state'.
Exrtacted from log files:
Project Server Queue 8t2r Medium
PWA:http://liaqcg3/projectserver, SSP:pj_sharedservices,
User:LIADOM01\_wpjtssp, PSI: [QUEUE] Arithmetic overflow error converting
expression to data type int.
PSError: Success (0) An unxpected exception occurred in the Project Server
Queue.

I assume there is a matching entry in the Manage Queue Jobs - does it
have a queue postion reference. If its gretera than 1 there may be a
prior job you have to cancel first.
