Project Server 2007 SP1???????

I think alot of us are drowning out here in bugs. Any idea at this
point when SP1 will be available? The last time I spoke with a MS
partner about a month and a half ago, the expectation was around this
time (Oct 1).

hi Andy,

At this stage it will be end of the year. SP1 is in beta and is tested as we
speak. I can imagine that MS even rolls it out a little earlier, but end of
year is what I have heard.

I have most recently heard from several reliable sources that SP1 won't be
released now until January or February '08.

Hi Jonathan, I hope you are wrong :) lets hope Microsoft deliveres it a
little earlier. I have customers holding back with Project Server until SP1 (
which in some cases is fair)

I Really hope its not pushed out till then.

Its a bit frustrating - initial release date was July, then August, then
Oct, now its next year only...

I agree, Andy. I've been implementing PServer for 6 years now,and
Microsoft has really hung its partners and customers out-to-dry on
this. I'm furious with them, as our customers are ready to drop the
tool because of the amount of maintenance required. Let's hope that
some light will be shed on this topic at the PTB, although I am not
optimistic given the number of issues this SP is going to have to fix.

I've heard through mid-2009, but that's obviously subject to change.
