Project Server 2007 - Timesheet

Arun

Hi,
We are using project Server 2007. If we create a new task and save and
publish the the project plan it is available in the timesheet i.e. the task
is comming with planed time in the timesheet. Once the finish date is reached
for a task and if we extented the task(save and publish the plan), the task
is not automatically listed in the timesheet and if we go to Add lines and
add the task line to the timeshet, it is not showing the planned time....
What else I need to list the extended task with planned time in the tmesheet.

Thanks in advance,
Arun

Hi,

Timesheets only show the tasks as they were when the Timesheet was created.
Therefore, if something changes on the plan midway through a timesheet period
it won't be reflected in that timesheet.
You can delete and recreate the timesheet to get the 'latest version' of the
plan, but this might not be what you want due to having to re-enter the
actuals.

My suggestion, though this depends on your business model, is to have
timesheets only cover one week at a time so updates during a single period
are minimum.

Cheers,

Jonathan
