Project Server 2007 Training Documentation

Does Microsoft provide any training documentation for users of Project
Server 2007? With Project Server 2003, they had a Team Member's
manual, Project Manager's manual, etc. I cannot find these documents,
if they exist, for 2007. I've bought the MSProjectExpert books for my
education, but now I need something for all the users of the system.

No, Microsoft do not. From working with them on the Beta, it appears
that they started to, as I have some of those very draft documents,
but nothing ever came of it. There are vendors who have materials. I
have 2007 and 2003 training materials that are role based and fairly
generic and I know how much effort it takes to develop the materials.
Take a look at the Versitle Company's offerings. It seems pretty good
to me, although the format is pretty plain. I use Information Mapping
for my materials to make it easier for people to find what they are
looking for.

Another possible solution for you is to use the 2003 stuff from
Microsoft to the extent possible and then create your own for the
differences that matter. Team Members usually don't need a lot of
materials, but you also can't just give them a 20 slide PowerPoint and
say "Go and be a good PWA Team Member."

Hope this helped, if just a little.

Gary,

I have not seen your manual for team members. What is the cost? I
want something that is cheap to distribute to possibly hundreds of
users...that is why I liked the free Microsoft stuff.
