Project server 2007 upgrade issue

Hi:

We are upgrading PS 2003 to 2007 in our organization. Also
upgrading/migrating Sharepoint 2.0 to Sharepoint 3.0. PS 2007 is installed in
a different computer than PS 2003.
Installation is done.
Windows sharepoint services 3.0 installation is done.
The method that we have chosen to upgrade WSS is by migrating database from
WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0. That's where the problem is.
Have run the prescan tool on the old sharepoint content database and
attached it to the new sharepoint database...
Next step I beleive is to run the stsadm.exe -o -addcontentdb ....to link
the databse to the URL. After I do that the site stops working. It was fine
after the PS 2007 installation...but after I attach the database and run the
stsadm tool..something goes wrong and the site shows an error message
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". There was no error in the
prescan or stsadm logs...i dunno what te problem is....does anybody have an
idea what would have happened..? Has anyone had this kind of problem while
upgrading PS or WSS..?

Are you sure that IIS is running,
Open IIS logs and verify that request was refused by your IIS
server .
when you run stsadm.exe -o -addcontentdb .... what exactly happend ?
when you check migration log are there same warnings ?
Are you able execute STSADM -o ENUMSITES to see list of migrated
sites ?
Any errors or warnings in event logs ?
You should enable ULS loggin to get additional data.

Hey

Your inputs give me an idea of what to look for.

I haven't looked at the logs as it is in a different computer. I'm going to
check that tomorrow and see if there are any warnings in it. After I run the
stsadm tool to attach the content database...it said that the database was
already attached to the URL/server or something similar to that. We are going
to troubleshoot it tomorrow. I'll post more on this soon....

Thanks
