Project Server 2010 Desktop SW Requirements

The organization I work in is thinking about implementing project
server 2010, but right now, the standard ms office software on their
desktops in office 2003. They don't have a problem installing Project
Pro 2010, but they aren't ready to upgrade the rest of office. I
haven't seen the 2010 PWA yet but have seen 2007 PWA and know that you
can, for example, export views to Excel. Just curious as to whether
or not (assuming that functionality exists in 2010) it would work okay
with Excel 2003 or, for that matter, if there is any other
functionality that would be affected by using Excel 2003.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,

it will work but you will have very very limited functionality. Check
on technet for the "Good, better, best" document that wil clarify it
allot for you. Even with 2007, though more that 2003 you still have
limited functionality.
