Project Server and Windows SP2

Dan

After loading SP2 on my PC when I log into Project Web
Access and navigate to an area powered by SharePoint
(Issues, Documents, and Risks) I get a blank browser
screen when I navigate down into that area. For example I
select issues, select a project I can then see the
current issues. If, however, I select "alert me" or "new
issues" I get a blank browser screen. Non SP2 PCs work
fine and going into the issues through Project 2003 works
fine as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

I have security turned down to low and my project server
listed as a trusted site. I also browsed the settings and
don't see anything that looks restrictive. Thanks, Dan

Dan:

Are you seeing this behavior on multiple machines? I haven't had time to
play with SP2 yet and its newness doesn't give us much experience base to go
on. Give me as much information as you can and I'll pass it on for
evaluation First check the KB on SharePoint and the SharePoint newsgroups
and see if there are any dependencies between SharePoint SP1 and XP service
pack. You don't state whether you've upgraded your Project or Office
installations.

Yes I am seeing this from multiple machines. I'm the
administrator on Project Server and if I go to the
SharePoint site from the admin screens it works find. We
are also running SharePoint independently of Project
Server and it functions normally. So it appears to be the
way Project Server and SharePoint passes information.

We are running Project Server on a Windows Server 2003.
My local copy of project is at SP1. We have yet to
install SP1 for Project Server - we are planning that
soon (although this is not listed as a fix in SP1).
During the coming week I will also confirm others with
Windows SP2 have the same problem. I have search the KB
and didn't see any related issues.

I appreciate the help and will continue to update this
list as we continue troubleshooting. Thanks, Dan

Just to close this out. We have found the problem - the
Google toolbar. Despite the fact that Google Toolbar
worked file before SP2 it was the problem. Disabling
popup blocker did not fix the problem; we had to disable
the toolbar all together. Thanks again, Dan
